How to Get Indexed on the Search Engines Almost Immediately

July 24, 2010 by admin

I wanted to talk briefly about getting indexed quickly on Google. I wrote an article (category page) on my dog health site a couple of days ago and it has been indexed by Google already (within two days).

Not bad since I only have four pages and twelve articles (posts) written so far! And when the site starts to grow further, this two day (lets call it an annoying…) delay, will be down to UNDER one hour! (And I’ll prove it to you.)

When you add valuable content to your site it really does matter, in SEO terms. And I’m talking about content written for people not the search engines, which is a common problem which most network and new internet marketers make.

And I was guilty of this in the past too!

But it is vital, if you want your article, pages and posts to get indexed high on Google that you write your content for readers and not for the search engines.

When you right for the search engines, you fill your content with spammy keywords and longtail search phrases which you know are already being searched.

But the temptation is to forget that people are reading your content. This is a fundamentally huge mistake to make. If your content doesn’t read write to you, it is not going to read write by the man the matters, good old ‘Mr. Google!’

You must write for people, not for the search engines. But you must also include the right keywords and the right phrases if you want your articles to rank high.

Which is what I have done on my dog health site.

Now I know what you are thinking. Surely all you have to do is to check with wordtracker, free or paid or perhaps the seobook lists for the highest searched words for a subject and put them in an article, and ‘hey presto’ you’ve got an article filled with what the search engines want.

This is NOT so.

If you want to write SEO rich content, which is going to get indexed and stay in a high google position, I suggest you read this:

The Wordtracker Question Tool

Finally, this morning I did further keyword research (for my dog health site) using the Wordtracker Question Tool.

For an article I wrote today, I entered just a couple of words and came up with a 274 word article, covering six or seven ACTUALLY searched phrases! It’s not indexed just yet, but in the future it should get found for those search phrases and more.
