In my last newsletter I told you about my PC crashing and that I had invested in a new computer. I had got so fed up with my vista PC after so many crashes since I bought it, that for my 40th birthday last week (all cards and wishes of life begins at forty are most welcome!!) I decided to splash out and I bought myself a brand new iMac!
This is one of the vast number of reasons I love working online and from home. If I was still in a job which I hated, there would be almost no chance of me ever affording an amazing piece of technology like this.
I work four days and three evenings a week (my partner works part time three days a week). I spend all the time I want with my 11 month old daughter and get to see her grow up every day, as well as all the new things she is starting to do. Like yesterday, she crawled for the very first time and I was right there to catch it on video!
It was incredible.
I am blessed in so many ways – to work from a home office, have all the time I want to spend with my family and to order a new Mac is just one of the benefits of working online. There are no limits.
I’m still going to work with my vista machine though, because some of the software I use is not designed to work on the Mac. Here are a couple of photos, if you are interested in taking a look.

But back to business.
Getting your keyword research right for any online project is fundamental to the overall performance of it. Unless that is, you are using other forms of traffic (like social networking sites) to generate leads and sales.
But if you are relying on SEO as your main traffic source of traffic, the bottom line is that if you don’t get enough of it, you DON’T make any money. Plain and simple.
There are several keyword research techniques and services available, so I have created another video (split into three parts), where I am going to show you how I do my own keyword research and also show you the SEO (search engine optimization) tools I use. I have a tooth abscess right now and as you can imagine, is ‘rather’ painful (to put it politely) so please excuse my voice in places, as I can hardly talk!!
I am using Market Samurai for my keyword research, because this tool is so versatile and it brings back a ton of data to work with, sometime a little too much. I don’t use all the keyword research features of Market Samurai for this reason, but I show you which columns and boxes to check (or rather the ones which I check) in the video.
Once the final list of keywords is generated, the last part of the video shows you how to export them from Market Samurai and into KRAPro. I think of KRAPro as my ‘Internet Marketing Secret Weapon’ because by using just one little feature of it, I am able to generate the words and phrases which are relevant to the first page of ANY search term! Usually within in the top 3 – 5 places.
That means that ANY page I write, be it a website article or any other article on a directory – is optimized for page 1 ranking on search engines.
Part 1 – Using the Google Keyword Suggestion Tool first, then Market Samurai for Keyword Research
Part 2 – Use Market Samurai to Generate All Relevant Keywords and Export into One Large List
Part 3 – Export Research Data from Market Samurai and Import Into KRAPro
